My First Blog Post!

I'm so excited to start this fashion blog I finally have a space that I can contribute my fashion taste to. I breathe, live and walk in fashion, it's an artistic world I'm so happy to find myself a member in. I am an independent college student living on my own and know first hand the struggles of supporting yourself, maintaining household responsibilities and managing my education. In the midst of all of that I understand the difficulty in trying to keep up with the trends of fashion on a strict budget. I can't afford to splurge on clothes like I would love to. The outfits I put together are ones that are affordable and budget friendly.I like using basic pieces as a foundation for my outfits and simply adding trendy items. I am a big believer that accessories are the big answers to creating a variety of fashion looks  without changing the major outfit pieces. I am a big shoe lover, I mean what woman doesn't love a closet full of shoes.I like to wear trendy shoes to update my wardrobe. I hope to offer some fashion inspiration to those who know they love clothing but unsure of how to create some runway looks on their own. I was born in a small town in Connecticut, and raised in the fast paced upbeat streets of NYC. I lived in the Bronx and everyday I felt like I was on the runway with the immense variants of fashion I saw. I have a clue or two of the struggle when you have to get dressed up because you have a party to go to, and you don't know what to wear, while being on a budget, on top of that wanting to look chic. Its hard! So I am going to share with you my ideas and fashion sense and what inspires me. Here you will also be updated on my latest purchases on clothing and accessories. I hope throughout  my visual diary you will be saved the 15-20 min struggle of the "what should I wear today?"
